Commercial Concrete

Our concrete is number one, no project is too big or too small. We specialize in foundations, commercial flatwork, multi-family construction, structural concrete walls, and large civil developments.

Aviation Specialty Systems

We are proud of our long history and experience in the aviation sector. From installing crucial ground-to-air navigation systems (MALSF, MALSR, ALSF) to installing arresting systems (EMAS, BAK-12, BAK-14), HMI is the contractor you can trust.

OUR HISTORY & LEADERSHIP

Over 50 Years of Shaping Infrastructure with Integrity

Founded in 1973 by Jeffrey Widness in Northern Minnesota, HMI began by filling a crucial gap: representing local projects that larger firms overlooked. Today, we have evolved into a premier national subcontractor, constructing high-stakes aviation and structural concrete systems — all while keeping our core values of safety, integrity, and passion.
